Below are the rules for Eddie Whump Week! If you have any more questions, please visit our FAQ page, ask a question on our ask page, or DM our event twitter page.Content:1) Any fics/edits/art made for Day 1-7 must be inspired by/based on one (or both!) of the prompts. Any whump ideas that do not fit within the prompts can be published for either day 5 or day 8 (free days!)2) All fanworks must include some form of hurt on Eddie! This can range from physical to psychological.3) This week is focusing on whump! Heavy petting, fade to black and implied sex are permitted—explicit, descriptive sex is not.4) Due to the sensitive content that typically accompanies whump, tagging is key! Any fics that include potentially triggering content must be tagged accordingly.5) The following content is not permitted under any circumstances:— Incest
— Beastiality
— PedophiliaAll fics submitted will be reviewed by the moderating team. If a fic does not adhere to the above guidelines the Moderators will reach out to advise on any adjustments that need to be made via the event twitter page (provided your handle is listed on your work/profile somewhere).General Rules:1) The collection will open on the first day of the event (Dec 7th, 2026) and will be open for a month until January 7th, 2027. If you don't have your fic completed by the relevant day, you still have plenty of time to submit! If you submit prior to the collection, it will be approved on the open day. You will be unable to submit if past the close date (but you are of course more than welcome to publish it outside of the collection!)2) You can create as much or as little as you like! There is no need to create something for each day of the week (but we very much welcome it!). All submissions are loved, no matter how big or small.3) Any harrassment of moderators of contributors will not be tolerated, and will result in being disqualified from participating in the event and any future events run by the mod team.4) AI usage is PROHIBITED in all shapes and forms.

1) What is whump?— A fanfiction trope in which the character being 'whumped' goes through some sort of distress—whether it be physical or psychological—and is then comforted and taken care of.2) Why is smut not allowed?— This event is meant to focus on the whumping of Eddie primarily. Any fade to black, heavy petting or implied sex is permitted—explicit, descriptive sex is not. This is to ensure that the content remains focused on the whumping of Eddie.3) Is rape allowed?— The same rules that apply to explicit sex apply to explicit rape. In that it is not permitted and will not be included in the collection. Rape recovery is allowed but explicit description of the rape itself is not. We recommend getting a sensitivity reader as a beta to review your work if you choose to explore these themes.4) Are ships allowed?— Nothing prohibits the inclusion of romance/ships from being included in the collection. Though, the core of this event is to focus on Eddie—this is not a Buddie Event, or any other Eddie Ship Week. The only person who needs to be included is Eddie. Any ship content should be secondary/background to the exploration of Eddie’s character.5) Is homophobia allowed?— Themes of bigotry, racism, homophobia etc. can be explored by your fics. But they must be framed by the text as ultimately negative. Any fics that are explicitly racist, homophobic or bigoted towards Eddie as a whole, where those acts are framed neutrally/positively will not be included. We recommend getting a sensitivity reader as a beta to review your work if you choose to explore these themes6) Is Omegaverse/MPreg allowed?— Omegaverse, MPreg, Fantasy, AUs are all permitted. You can chose to write this as you please as long as the other guidelines are adhered to.Please note that everyone is welcome to join the event. This event was created with the intention of uniting people around Eddie Diaz, and we welcome any submissions that adhere to the guidelines.
